Kern Coalition Against Human Trafficking (KCAHT) is a grassroots coalition that was created to facilitate a comprehensive approach to combat human trafficking in Kern County through prevention, protection, prosecution and partnerships.

The coalition members aim to provide supportive services for those experiencing or are at risk of human trafficking by

• Actively encouraging victim-centered and evidence-based approaches that prioritize the safety and wellness of survivors
• Raising public awareness through events and media
• Strategizing prevention efforts in vulnerable communities
• Facilitating training for law enforcement, health care professionals, community agencies, and other interested entities
• Performing community outreach to relevant populations
